No extension into drain—covers ANY drain flange up to 2 7/8" in diameter and pin works with either the most-common 3/8" or 5/16" threaded crossbars in the drain. You can also purchase a 1/4" pin adapter for trip lever drain strainer bodies (Select options with 10-24 in the drop down menu)
