The Amtrol WX-255 pressure tank

"The Amtrol WX-255 pressure tank is said to have the thickest diaphragm in the industry per the Tech guy at Amtrol. I decided to give it a try. The price from NYDIRECT was the best I found and it included shipping. The tank was shipped cross country within a week. The package was still intact and the tank looked fine. The tank date was assembled 2 months earlier meaning to me the diaphragm/tank was not sitting around a warehouse getting old. It took me about 1 hour to hook it up. The piping height from the ground was about 5/8 inch higher than my older tank but some pieces of dense particle board were just right to raise the tank to my piping needs. Ask me in 7 years after my warranty runs out if I still like the tank and I can give a more valuable review. I put the old tank out for a Curb Alert on the local C---List and it disappeared within one day. I am a new customer to NY Direct but I have bookmarked them for my first "go-to" guys if I need what they sell. So far I am a 100% satisfied customer and my wallet is thicker than what it could have been! AL in Northern Arizona"
